Marty Suter – Kitchener Centre

Marty Suter is an anti-poverty activist and advocate of labour rights in Kitchener. A former long distance truck driver now living on a totally inadequate and barely subsistence level ODSP disability pension, he has previously run in three  federal elections as a candidate for the Communist Party in Kitchener Centre.

He is an active member of the KW Alliance Against Poverty and other local anti-poverty groups, and for many years he has fought to raise social assistance rates across the province to above the poverty line.
