Jack Copple is a bartender and shop steward at the recently unionized Gladstone Hotel. As a resident and worker in the Davenport riding, Jack worked diligently with his co-organizers to advocate for the improved working conditions of workers in their shop. This advocacy and organization is what eventually led to a successful majority vote in favour of unionization in April of 2019.
Jack continues to work to improve the material conditions of workers in his shop, and wants to bring this same advocacy for worker’s rights to Queen’s Park.
